Kurt Richard Todoroff  -  Fourth Generation

Kurt Todoroff is a co–founder of Todoroff Foods Incorporated. In his position, he oversees and is responsible for all company activities with primary emphasis on new product development and strategic growth.

Kurt graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering, and an Officer commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.

He attended USAF Undergraduate Pilot Training at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma and graduated in 1980 with an F–111D fighter assignment to Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. He attended the USAF Lead–In Fighter Training program at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico en route to Cannon. Subsequently, he received an EF–111A assignment to Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. He was responsible for training pilots, weapon system officers, and electronic warfare officers in nuclear and conventional weapons employment tactics and electronic warfare tactics in the F–111D and the EF–111A. During his assignment at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho he was appointed the youngest instructor pilot and flight examiner ever in the EF–111A. He received the Wing Instructor Pilot of the Year Award during his assignment at Mountain Home. He was selected as a Mission Commander for sensitive operational missions using multiple dissimilar aircraft. He was hand picked for Tactics Development and Evaluation testing for the EF–111A. He was inbriefed in several DoD classified black programs. He co–authored the first multi–command tactics manual for the EF–111A. He has flown the T–33A, T–37B, T–38A/B, T–41C, F–111A/D, EF–111A, F–15B, EC–130E, WC–130H, C–141A/B, KC–10A, E–3A aircraft. He resigned his commission in 1986.

Kurt served as a Program Manager for Lear Siegler (later Smiths Industries) from 1986 until 1991 in the Data Systems division. He was assigned to the USAF Standard Flight Data Recorder program where he managed several multi–million dollar engineering development efforts concurrently for the DoD. He coordinated the efforts of 30 engineering and support personnel. He consistently met or exceeded aggressive contractual schedule and budget objectives. He reported program status regularly at the VP level.

Kurt served as a Product Manager for Symplex Communications Corporation from 1991 until 1992, overseeing the Dynamic Throughput Processing Console product line. He was responsible for defining product objectives and market integration. He served concurrently as the Department Manager for the product software engineers. These positions reported directly to the CEO. He launched a new software development department and he enhanced an existing lackluster product line to leverage additional sales. He created a liaison between the sales manager and the product manager. He reduced the number of field reported product problems. He reduced departmental employee turnover to zero.

In addition to his responsibilities with The Todoroff Group, LLC, Kurt has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Todoroff Foods Incorporated from 1993 to the present. He is responsible for the entire business operation. He oversees the management function and all other staff. He is responsible for sales and marketing. He increased the food service distributorship which provided substantial Michigan market coverage. He deployed the Todoroff Foods Production Expansion Initiative which increased production capacity by 500%. He successfully implemented the USDA federally mandated Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point program. Under his leadership, Todoroff Foods earned the best Food Safety Assessment ever written by the United States Department Of Agriculture for a food processing company in the state of Michigan.

Kurt currently is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Todoroff Foods Incorporated. In this capacity, he is responsible for the entire business operation, with primary emphasis on sales, marketing, new product development, and strategic growth. He is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Todoroff Group, LLC. He is the former owner and operator of the prototype Todoroff's® Original Coney Island franchised restaurant.

Kurt was raised in the family restaurant business, first working with his father Richard at Todoroff's Restaurant from 1965 to 1967 and then working at Richard's Todoroff's Original Coney Island restaurants from 1967 until 1975. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. He is a Life Member of the United States Air Force Academy Association of Graduates. He is a past member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He has two children, both of whom are graduates of the Air Force Academy, and, two grandchildren.
